GA Pre K

First day of school - July 31, 2017 - Last Day May 23, 2018 

2018-2019 School Year (August 1st)

What you need: – 
  • Georgia Pre K Enrollment Forms
  • Kids R Kids School Age Enrollment Packet
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof Of Residency
  • Social Security Card
  • Immunization Form 3231
  • EED Form 3300

Key Reminders – 
  • Georgia Pre K Hours: 
    - 8:15am – 2:45pm
  • Arriving before or after these times may result in additional fees.
  • When dropping off your child in the carpool lane DO NOT let your child exit the vehicle until a staff member has arrived to assist. 
  • If you arrive after the assigned carpool times please park and walk your students to class, they are not allowed to walk themselves to class, this is to ensure TOTAL safety and supervision.

Attendance –

  • Please have your child at school every day, on time. Lessons and activities are all pre-planned and a missing student may cause disruption in the lesson plans. This also teaches routine and helps get your child adjusted to their new school schedule.
  • If your child is absent, please provide a note or a doctor’s note explaining why they missed school upon return. Georgia Pre-K requires us to count and document absences, tardiness, and early pickups.

Pick Up Procedures–

  • Carpool Lane Pick Up – A window decal for your vehicle will be given. Your child’s name will be written on the decal and it should be placed visibly on the vehicles used for pick up. This helps staff clearly identify parents/guardians to ensure a fast and easy pick up. (If a new vehicle is going to be used for pick up please notify staff)
  • Walk in Pick Up – Please bring a photo ID when picking your child up. Teachers will verify your identification until they have become fully acquainted with families. Once routine and familiarity has been established your ID may not be required.
  • If someone new is picking up, please inform them that they will need their ID. We ask that you notify your child’s teacher of who will be picking up in writing, include the person’s full name, not just Grandpa or Grandma, in order to properly identify who is picking up your child.

Before & After Care –

  • Students enrolled in our before and after care are welcome to be dropped off any time earlier than 8:15am. 
  • After care starts promptly after class ends at 2:45pm until center close at 6:30pm.
  • We do not offer before and after care carpool lanes. Parents MUST walk their child to class in the mornings and come in and pick up their child from class in the evenings. 

What to Bring / First Day Readiness –

  • Spare clothes – Accidents of all sorts happen, please have a change of clothes in your child’s cubby at all times. (Top, bottom, socks & under garments)
  • Blanket – Will be sent home every Friday. 
  • Small Backpack
  • Cubbies will be assigned and your child will use this cubby for their belongings for the entire school year.

Meals – 

  • Lunches will be served daily (See our website for Food Menus posted weekly)
  • Meal Fees will be charged weekly – Payments may be made every Friday at the front desk or an ACH (auto-draft) can be set up for weekly billing.
  • Our center is PEANUT FREE. If you choose to pack your child’s lunch, please do not send any items containing peanuts.
  • We encourage ALL students to participate in our Meal Program. If parents do in fact to opt out, we REQUIRE that a written notice be submitted to management. Parents who do not provide notice PRIOR to the start of the new week will be charged the weekly meal fee.
