Bulletin 7-14-17

1. Pre-K Meet & Greet is July 27 12pm-1pm

2. Pre-K Carpool 

  •  AM Drop off will be from 8-8:15 am. Any student arriving after 8:15 am must be escorted to class by a parent. A tardy slip will need to be signed upon entering the classroom.
  •  PM Pickup will be from 2:45-3:00. There will be a late fee of $25 for all pickup after 3:00 pm.  

3. Before & After care

  • Extended care is available at a rate of $60 for before care. $80 for after care or $100 for both. If you will be using extended care please see front desk to register.

4. In an effort to avoid additional fees weekly, we are implementing a supply fee. The supply fee of $35.00 will be charged to your account quarterly. 

  • The supply fee will be added to your account August, November, February, & May.

5. Parent's Day Out- July 29 10am-4pm

Bulletin 6-28-17

1. Our center will be closed July 4th in observance of Independence Day

2. Pre-K Orientation is July 8

3. Pre-K Car Pool starts 8:00-8:15 am and pick up starts 2:45-3:00pm 

4. The school year is right around the corner, we provide transportation to and from Blackwell Elementary, Nicholson Elementary, Bells Ferry Elementary, Keheley Elementary, Addison Elementary, & Noonday Christian Academy.

Bulletin 1-2-2017

1.     Reminder, Our School Is ONLY Open Until 6:30 PM. It’s important to arrive at the school on time to avoid late pick-up fees.

2.     If Your Child Is Diagnosed With A Contagious Health Issue, Please Communicate This To The School Director As Soon As Possible. In Order For Us To Attempt To Prevent The Spreading Of Diseases Such As Strep, Flu Or Other Common Contagions, Please Inform Us Of The Doctor’s Diagnosis.

3.     The Kiss & GoLane Should Be Used For QUICK Student Drop-Off And Pick-Up. Please Do Not Park Under The Canopy For More Than 2 Minutes. If You Need To Spend Extra Time At The School You Are More Than Welcome, Just Please Park In The Parking Lot.

4.     2016 Tax Statementswill be available after 1-15-2017. Documents will be available in the lobby or if you prefer, we can email them to you.

9.       Depending on the number of students that arrive at the school early in the morning or early evening, some classrooms may be consolidated. Classrooms are merged together in order for teachers to prepare for the next day and the consolidation allows for the best teacher coverage during peak hours. 

10.   The Kiss & Go Lane should be used for QUICK student drop-off and pick-up. Please do not park under the canopy for more than 2 minutes. If you need to spend extra time at the school you are more than welcome, just please park in the parking lot.

11.   It’s important that children are signed in & out using the lobby computers.

Medication Policy

o   All OTC medications require a doctor note with specific instructions

o   Epi-Pens and Inhalers require updated authorization forms every two weeks

Communication – Correspondence

  • If you have not already subscribed to our EZ Text program, please consider doing so. This tool will be used primarily to send important school related texts and it’s a quick way for us to keep you up to speed on issues, events and other
  • Please keep your phone number and email addresses current with the front office staff.
  • Don’t forget, we update our website and Facebook every week. Calendars, menu’s, schedules and other important items are posted to keep you current on relevant school information.

GA Pre- K (Marietta)

  • It’s important that parents adhere to our drop-off and pick-up times. Also, please use the windshield decal and place in the bottom, passenger side front windshield. The decal is used to quickly identify who you are picking up.
  • Remember - CARPOOL begins at 8:00AM and ends at 8:15AM. It does not start in the afternoon until promptly 2:45PM. Please be courteous and do not park in the kiss and go lanes anytime before or after those times. We have afternoon buses that need to be able to get through safely to drop off children.

Check-in & Check-out

  • It is school policy that parents use our lobby check-in and check-out monitors.

Security

  • Our school does not display items of any kind on the glass walls to allow for maximum visibility.
  • Cameras are strategically located throughout the school to provide for the best possible coverage without compromising privacy. We are very sensitive to not having cameras in areas such as diaper changing stations. However, we are in the process of evaluating potential camera re-positioning options for certain classrooms and will address as needed. 

Parent Advisory Committee

  • Thank you for the many letters of interest from parents wishing to participate in the PAC. We are looking to schedule our first meetings at the end of the August. Also, Tony V (owner) will be calling you early next week to share some of the goals and objectives of the PAC. Please look for more information soon.

Before & After School Program

  • Please make sure you have registered your child if you intend for them to be on the Roster for the 2016-2017 After-School / Before School program.
  • Please visit our website for specific details pertaining to our Before-School / After-School program.

Payment Reminders

  • Payments due by end of day Mondays
  • Late fees of $10.00 per day will be applied after closing Mondays
  • Encourage parents to use ACH or pre-authorized credit card program

Vacation Policy

  • Reminder – One free week given after one full year of enrollment
  • Other weeks taken will be discounted 50%
  • A written two week notice is required if intending to take vacation
  • To be eligible for the vacation privilege, accounts must be current

·         Monthly Payments - For parents choosing to pay their tuition once per month, the following describes our basic policies:

o    Payments must be for the coming new month of care, not for the prior month

o    Payments will be made for the appropriate number of weeks in any given month (e.g., 4 weeks’ month vs a 5-week month)

o    Families may choose the number of weeks they would like to pre-pay (e.g., every 4 weeks - every 5....this is determined by the individual family)

·         Full-Time vs. Part-Time Student:

o    If your child is enrolled as a full-time student, your tuition will be billed as full-time

o    If you choose to change your child’s enrollment status, please notify the front office to avoid potential billing issues

o    Charges will reflect your child’s KNOWN enrollment status

·         Payment Options, Due Date & Late Fees

o    Preferred payment options – ACH or Pre-Authorized Credit Card Processing

o    Other payment options include: checks & money orders

o    Payments must be made by the end of day every Monday

  • Vacation Policy Reminder(GA schools)
    - 1 Weeks after one year
    - 50% off of regular tuition for vacation weeks taken before one year or after the two-week allowance has been used.
    - A written notice of intent to take vacation is required two weeks in advance

  • Tuition -It’s important to ensure that your tuition is paid in full by the end of business day each Monday to avoid a $10.00 per day late fee. Also, we encourage families to enroll in the ACH or in-house credit card authorization plan. 

  • In an effort to help manage costs and to ensure we always have the necessary resources to provide the best possible care for your child, we require a two week notice if you chose to dis-enroll your child. By not providing a notice, we unfortunately schedule teachers, buy supplies and absorb other costs in anticipation of having your child attend.
